Not a walking shadow, nor a tale told by an idiot.

Tomorrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage

There are bad people and good people. All depart. Dust thou art and to dust returnst was not spoken of the soul, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow says in his A Psalm Of Life?
And he says a lot more.

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.
Art is long, and Time is fleeting,

A number of great people who were icons for successive generation have departed
I n the past few months, – Nawab of Pataudi, Jagjit Singh, Steve Jobs, Dev Anand, Mario Miranda, to name a few. They lived in the present, not caring about the fleeting time . Leaving behind their foot prints in the wet concrete of time, they created everlasting “works of noble note”. I bow my head to them. Human glory is not tainted by instability, at least in their case.
