The glamorous young man goes on a pleasure cruise with his spouse on a decorated punt.

Here is another delectable lyric,’Singara Moorithivi’, by Annamacharya. Set in Khamas ragam in Jhampe talam, gloriously by Sri Nedunuri, it vividly describes the Lord’s cruise around, in a flower-bedecked pleasure boat, along with his spouse Indira and her maids.

Here is my attempt to translate this Teppostawam celebration Into English.

You are glamor, glory and grace personified. You are the sire of the God of Love who sprouts in the unsteady mind.
People jostle along to get near you and stare at you, Oh! Lord with a thousand facets looking after everything and everyone.
Charanam-1
You, your spouse and her maids, climb atop the flower-bedecked punt,
While the celestials rain flowers on you from high up in the skies,
(note: We can translate this line another way thus:
And playfully throw around flowers high up into the skies .)
And while the celestials applaude you to the accompaniment of heavenly drums,
People look at you with rapt attention. Oh, Lord with a thousand facets looking after everything and everyone.
You are glamor, glory and grace personified. You are the sire of the God of Love, the one who sprouts in the unsteady mind.
People jostle along to get near you and look earnestly at you, Oh! Lord with a thousand facets looking after everything and everyone.

Charanam2
As pretty celestial damsels dance splendidly, in every conceivably graceful way,
And as other celestials stare at you avidly from the skies,
And as performers play great melodies to the accompaniment of nice beats on their respective instruments with great skill,
You float around on the waters, on a pontoon of palm logs lashed together, Oh, Lord with a thousand facets, looking after everything and everyone.
You are glamor and grace personified. You are the sire of the God of Love who sprouts in the unsteady mind.
People jostle along to get near you and ogle at you, Oh! Lord with a thousand facets looking after everything and everyone.
Charanam-3
Within the golden mansion located amidst the lake, while you dine in state, sumptuously along with Indira, you Lord Venkatesa, you excel, you are a treat to look at,
As you float around in the lake, Oh ! Lord with a thousand facets looking after everything and everyone.
You are glamor, glory and grace personified. You are the sire of the God of Love, who sprouts in the unsteady mind.
People jostle along to get near you and have a glimpse of you, Oh! Lord with a thousand facets looking after everything and everyone.

Here is the lyric (2-471) in Roman script.

Pallavi:

deva dundubhulu mroya, devathalu koluvagaa,

Charanam-2
Angar-anga vaibhavaala amara kaaminul-aada,
ningi nundi devsthalu ninu joodagaa.
sangeetha taala vaadya chaturathalu meraya
sangadi-daelaeti neeku Saasa Mukha.

Charanam-3
