Roots, no, not by Alex Haley.
These roots, at the corner of Wall Street and Broadway also have a poignant history.The roots are of a sycamore tree which saved the St. Paul’s Chapel from damage on 9/11. Sculpture by Steve Tobin (2005)

The tour guide, an attractive and young, if a little bit matronly lady took a fancy to the Methuselah, began addressing him familiarly with a pet name , much to the amusement of his wifi.
